Development of Indigenous Inline-Optical Density (OD) Meter (Turbidity Sensor)

Turbidity meters are used for in-line turbidity measurement in industrial manufacturing processes. to help achieve process control in crystallization, phase separation, biomass growth, beer filtration, color identification and other critical applications. Some of the applications of OD meters are –

  • Breweries, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, sugar refining, food and beverage
  • Pharmaceutical Industry- during API production to check for when saturation is reached.
  • High performance turbidity measurement – for measuring suspended particle concentrations.
  • Color Sensor and turbidity measurement in brewery and beverage industries
  • Measurement of pH/ORP, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, dissolved CO2, and turbidity.
