Two-Day workshop on Design Techniques and Laser Cutting Operations

Chitkara University NewGen IEDC, which is a DST funded centre at Chitkara University conducted a two-day workshop on Design Techniques and Laser Cutting Operations to train the students on building good quality project prototypes. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Chanpreet Singh (Project Manager, CURIN) during September 19-20, 2022 in which 39 students participated and learned about CAD designing software and designing techniques, laser cutting operations, and technicalities of laser cutting machine. Student participants made the designs themselves in this hands-on workshop and realized them using laser cutting machine.
