Three- Day Awareness Drive- How to Win Project Funding from NewGen IEDC?

New Generation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (NewGen IEDC) at Chitkara University sponsored by GoI received the grant of INR 2.87 crores for five years to support innovative ideas and student projects. It provides a platform to the fraternity of the University to create an environment of research and innovation.

Students prepare a proposal and a short video of their idea, which is evaluated by the senior faculty members. Based on the results funding is provided as per the requirement of the project up to INR 2.5 lacs.

Chitkara University NewGen IEDC conducted an Awareness Drive about the Prototyping Funding and Fabrication Facility Support available for the students during Sep 28-30, 2021. The three-day drive was open for all the students of Chitkara University to understand the procedure of getting financial support from NewGen IEDC. It was organized outside Square One and witnessed footfall of around 750 students and faculty of the University.

On the grounds, the drive was led by Mr. Lovit Kumar, Senior Office Executive from NewGen IEDC on ground with support from Mr. Chanpreet Singh, Project Manager, CURIN and Co-cordinator Chitkara University NewGen IEDC.
