Faculty Development Program on Rapid Prototyping: Become an Expert of 3D Printing Technology through Hands-on Experience

Chitkara University NewGen-IEDC organized a Faculty Development Program on Rapid Prototyping: Become an Expert of 3D Printing Technology Through Hands-on Experience. The session was delivered by an Industry Expert from Divide by Zero Company on Accucraft i250D 3D Printer on July 28, 2023, at PLM Lab-2, 3rd Floor Tesla Block. A total of 10 faculty members participated in this session. On July 29, Mr. Chanpreet Singh, Project Manager from CURIN, gave a hands-on session where they printed 3D models such as clamp, nut, and bolt on a 3D printer machine. They learned to setup multiple 3D printer machines in the printing manager software, i.e., CURA. They also learned various printing parameters that can be used to optimize the printing time and strength of the model.
