In today’s global scenario, the trend is shifting from conventional to non-conventional sources of energy. Thus, the demand for biofuel is increasing continuously. The project involves the conversion of waste leaves to biofuel, which can be easily burned in the bio-burners of industries and home chuhlaas. The leaves are a form of biomass that has the potential to generate energy equivalent to wood, i.e., 18 MJ/kg. Based on the project procedure, leaves are processed non-thermally to increase their calorific value and convert them into compact form.
